Hi Lo (Forklift) Operator
The Hi Lo operator is important in transporting product safely and efficiently to and from machines to staging area to shipping docks adhering to work flows on the production floor. They will follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure the highest efficiency and safety. They will maintain records of inspection utilizing daily checklist, damage and proper PPE (personal protective equipment).
Machinery Use
Knowledge and ability to pick up loads, travel from assigned areas to staging areas with loads properly aligned and proper placement.
Understand the operation of the machinery so that they can avoid potential safety incidents to themselves or those around.
Duties may include but are not limited to pushing/pulling excessive weight reels (over 50 lbs.) to properly maneuver forks, realign forks to safely stage reels on forks for travel, stack, flip and ease reels in proper position.
Simultaneously operate steering and levers to adjust for excessive weight on forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
Maintain knowledge of proper handling procedures for various chemicals and materials. Utilize proper shipping procedures for prevention of product damage.
High School Diploma required
Mechanical ability
Valid US Driver's License
Must pass a physical, drug screen and Powered Industrial test to prove skills and ability.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
